Goodreads’ Book Description:
When Talia first moved from California to Australia to study abroad, she never dreamed she’d find the love of her life. Bran understands her like no one ever has before. And despite the numerous challenges they’ve faced, they’ve always managed to figure out how to stay together. But this time they’ll face their toughest hurdle yet. Is their love strong enough to keep them together?
1000x yes. This is exactly what I needed.
INSIDE OUT concludes the “Off the Map” series and I couldn’t be sadder to say goodbye to these two beautiful characters. My adorable favorites, Talia and Bran, have taken me on the ride of a lifetime and I’ve learned so much from them. It’s incredibly bittersweet finishing a series that you’re so invested in. That being said, INSIDE OUT was the perfect conclusion that I needed.
Lia Riley is the Queen of Dialogue. How she manages to create the most hilarious, fascinating conversations is completely beyond me. I live for Talia and Bran’s words.
I hate parting with these two. I feel like I’ve watched them grow up, find themselves, find each other and figure out how to navigate the world together.
Talia has to go through some tough situations in this book. Honestly, she’s pretty lost and has no idea what she wants to do with her life or where she wants to go, even with Bran by her side. However, she’s such a fighter without even realizing it. I love her modesty and humility.
Bran is still my main man. His character development is a wonder to have witnessed. He gets it. He grows up and becomes this absolute rock for Talia, grounding her when she feels flighty and supporting her when she’s not all put-together. I really love that guy.
The amount of revelations these two discover throughout the book had me feeling so inspired and happy for them, I’m pretty sure I was grinning like a lunatic the entire time. Woops.
Here are some lovely quotes that stuck out to me:
“This is a part of Bran’s voodoo. When he looks at me with those eyes, I feel it, beautiful on a cellular level.”
SAME, Talia, I’m 100% with you.
“Even though heights terrify me, I’m addicted to our edge-dancing. I’d rather be lost with him, than ever play it safe.”
*signs up to get lost with Bran whenever/wherever*
“No matter how much stupid shit I’ve done in my life, I’ve done something right to earn this girl. She makes me feel things I never knew I was capable of.”
God, Bran, why must you say these words and make me feel all swoon-y and alive?
“Sometimes happiness doesn’t require any words. Sometimes happiness just is.”
LIA. I love your words. You are a phenomenal writer.
Thank you for letting me experience this ride. It was brilliant and unforgettable and I miss these two already.
Definitely experience this series for yourself!

Lia Riley writes offbeat New Adult Romance. After studying at the University of Montana-Missoula, she scoured the world armed only with a backpack, overconfidence and a terrible sense of direction. She counts shooting vodka with a Ukranian mechanic in Antarctica, sipping yerba mate with gauchos in Chile and swilling XXXX with stationhands in Outback Australia among her accomplishments. When not torturing heroes (because c’mon, who doesn’t love a good tortured hero?), Lia herds unruly chickens, camps, beach combs, daydreams about as-of-yet unwritten books, wades through a mile-high TBR pile and schemes yet another trip. She and her family live in Northern California.
